
Singapore: The U.S.A team set a new world record in the 4x100m freestyle relay event at the ongoing World Swimming Championships in Singapore on Saturday.
Jack Alexy, Patrick Sammon, Kate Douglass, and Torri Huske were the members of the United States of America team.
U.S.A clinched the medal with the world record-breaking time of 3:18.48. The Neutral Athletes (NAB) team took the silver medal (3:19.68) while France took the bronze medal (3:21.35).
U.S.A bettered the previous world record of 3:18.83 which was set by Australia in 2023. Agencies
