Assam Athletics Association extended financial aid tor Hima Das and Amlan Borgohain

GUWAHATI: Assam Athletics Association extended financial aid to sprinter Hima Das and Amlan Borgohain for their training. The announcement was made by the president of the Assam Athletics Association Lakhya Konwar here today. Hima, selected in the Indian 4X100m relay team for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games, will receive Rs 1 lakh from the State Association. On the other hand Amlan, who is performing consistently in various meets, will get Rs 50,000.
