New Delhi: The Delhi Capitals have cancelled its trip to Pune for the next match after another player tested positive for COVID-19 during a Rapid Antigen Test Conducted on Monday morning.

According to a report by Indian Express, following the development, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has advised Delhi Capitals to put their departure to Pune on hold till a fresh round of RT-PCR Testing on Monday.

Notably, if the positive result is confirmed by the RT-PCR test, it will be the third such case in the DC camp.

Earlier, the BCCI had confirmed Patrick Farhart to be COVID-19 positive through a press release.

"Delhi Capitals physio Patrick Farhart has tested positive for COVID-19. The medical team of Delhi Capitals is keeping a close watch on him at this moment,'' BCCI had said in a press release.

A day later, a masseur too got infected with the virus.

As per the Cricbuzz report, the players of Delhi are in their rooms and today and tomorrow they will go through COVID tests.

Delhi will play their next match against Mayank Agarwal-led Punjab Kings at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on 20 April.

Reportedly, during Delhi Capitals' match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, the BCCI had barred Delhi players from shaking hands with RCB players.
