Former ACA Treasurer Arrested

GUWAHATI, Jan 6: Former treasurer of the Assam Cricket Association (ACA), Munindra Nath Saikia was arrested on Thursday by the Guwahati Police in connection with the alleged corruption probe against former ACA secretary Pradip Buragohain.

Munindra Nath Saikia was arrested from the Fatasil Ambari area in Guwahati by the police.

Earlier, former secretary Pradip Buragohain was arrested at Tingkong in Dibrugarh for alleged financial irregularities amounting to several crores of rupees during his tenure from 2016 to 2019.
