INDORE: Middle-order woes continue for India even in the third encounter with the Kiwis in the third and last of the three-match One Day International series between the two countries even after the superb 200-plus partnership from the opening pair.

New Zealand won the toss on the afternoon of Tuesday and decided to take the ball. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill came out to bat for India and started with massive hits from the very start of the match. Both of them took on whatever the bowlers from New Zealand had to offer and converted to runs scoring a century each.

Rohit Sharma's wicket was the first to fall in the match when the score was 212 on the first ball of the 27th over. He had scored 101 runs from 85 balls. Shubman Gill was the next wicket to fall with a score of 112 in 78 balls.

Miscommunication or rather lack of communication led to the loss of the third wicket in the form of Ishan Kishan after scoring just 17 runs from 24 balls. Virat Kohli managed 36 from 27 balls.

Suryakumar Yadav, Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur managed to score 14, 9 and 25 runs respectively before getting caught.

Hardik Pandiyan's quick knock of 54 runs in 38 balls towards the tail end of the innings before he was caught by Devon Conway on a ball of Jacob Duffy in the second last over.

Kuldeep Yadav was run out at the score of 3 while Umran Malik remained not out at 2.

Jacob Duffy and Blair Tickner managed to bag three Indian wickets each while Michael Bracewell got one.

With 385 runs, India should be in fairly good condition to win this match and the tournament with 3-0. The previous wins with Sri Lanka and now with New Zealand should boost the confidence of the Indian Men's Cricket team ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
