Inter-office, Institution Cricket from April 3

GUWAHATI: Assam Cricket Association will organize an Inter-office/Institution Cricket tournament from April 3 among the cricket teams of various Government/Public Sector Offices and Institutions of Assam. The tournament, carries a total prize money of Rs. 17.20 lakhs, will be played in a T20 format under daylight as well as flood lights.

Altogether 18 teams, divided into 4 groups, will participate in the tournament which would provide the perfect platform for the cricketers employed in the public sector domain and government institutions in Assam to showcase their prowess and skills. The list of participating teams:

Group A - ONGC, Central Warehousing Corporation, Bank of Baroda, Reserve Bank of India and Assam Secretariat. Group B - C.A.G., F.C.I., State Bank of India, ASEB and Bar Council, Assam. Group C - NF Railway, DIPR, BSNL and Directorate of NRC, Assam. Group D - Postal, Gauhati High Court, Assam Police and IOCL.
