One of the best fielders in International cricket, Suresh Raina turns a year older today, celebrates his 35th on Saturday 27 November.

The southpaw aggressive left-handed middle-order batsman is known worldwide for his performance in the cricket field. Raina's journey throughout his cricket career has been extremely interesting which led him to gain success in the field.

Some of the very crucial innings of Suresh Raina in collaboration with former captain of the team, MS Dhoni brought huge victory for the country in a different cricket tournament. He is the best-ever middle-order batsman from the country in limited-overs cricket. Raina was the captain of the teams Gujarat Lions in the IPL and at present, he is the vice-captain of the Chennai Super Kings.

Raina was born on 27 November 1986 in Muradnagar, Uttar Pradesh, started playing cricket from the fields Muradnagar, and then joined the Indian team in the year 2005. • 101 vs South Africa: Raina struck shots all around the field and created history as he became the first batter to score a hundred in T20 internationals as he ended at 101.

• 34 VS AUSTRALIA, 2011: The score was game-changing and the team was against Australians in the quarter-final match and India looked in a position batting at 143/3. It was a small and crucial inning with Yuvraj Singh finishing at 34 off 28 balls.

• 100 VS ENGLAND, 2014: Raina along with MS Dhoni reach a total of 304 runs and Raina played an outstanding knock of 100 runs off just 75 balls.

• 110 VS ZIMBABWE, 2015: The duo of Dhoni and Raina performed well in the match as Dhoni finished with 85 runs whereas Raina registered a fiery hundred ending with 110 runs off 104 balls.
