Ex-Indian international cricketer, Yuvraj Singh received heartwarming birthday wishes on his 40th birthday on Sunday 12 December.

Former Indian International cricketer Yuvraj Singh turned a year older on Sunday 12 December. On his 40th birthday, the former cricketer received heartwarming birthday wishes from families, friends and fans across the world.

Wishes also poured in from the Indian Cricket fraternity making the day special for Yuvraj includes birthday greeting from legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar who wrote about the best time they spent together and former IPL captain Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir and Shubham Gill also wished Yuvraj on his birthday.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also extended their wishes for Yuvraj in a post on Twitter mentioning his success with 402 international matches, 11, 778 international runs, and 148 wickets.

The former India All-rounder also received birthday wishes from IPL (Indian Premier League) franchises including Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SR) and Kolkata Knights Riders through Twitter.

Yuvraj Singh was born on 12 December 1981 in Chandigarh, India and made his career in the world of Indian cricket for his aggressive and elegant stroke play performance in the field. The southpaw is also known for playing cricket in all forms and is therefore known as the all-rounder player for India.

Yuvraj made the announcement for his retirement from cricket from all formats in the year 2019 which marked the end of his cricket career. During his playing days, he is recognized as a left-handed batter in the middle order who bowls slow left-arm orthodox.

Yuvraj has made great achievements throughout his 15 years of glittering cricket career being the winner of the 2011 World Cup. He has played a total of 40 tests match, 58 Twenty20 Internationals, 304 ODI (One Day Internationals), gathered more than 11,000 runs across all the formats of cricket.
