Inter District School Football Championship: Gyanmandir, KMHS, Betkuchi qualify

Guwahati: Gyanmandir Bidyapith, Kamrup Metorpolitan Higher Secondary (KMHS) and Betkuchi High school will represent Kamrup metro in the forthcoming Inter District School Football Championship which will kick off from August 8. Gyanmandir Bidyapith emerged champion in the U-14 category and qualified for the Pilik Choudhury Football. Kamrup Metorpolitan Higher Secondary School qualify for the Deokon Trophy by winning U-17 Inter School tournament. On the other hand Betkuchi booked a berth in the Nripendra Narayan Singh Inter district school girls' football by winning the final. All the finals were held in the city today.
