Linda, Udayan Advance in 'C' Division Qualifying Round Football

Guwahati: Linda FC and Udayan Kristi Sangha advanced to the next round in the 'C' Division Qualifying Round by winning their respective matches at the Nehru stadium here today. Linda FC defeated Ankurjyoti Club 6-2 while Udayan Kristi Sangha defeated Excel FC 5-4 in penalty shootout. Abinandan Das scored a hat-trick for Linda.

Matches of the next round will start tomorrow. Schedule: Santipur AC vs Kaziranga FC, KMC FC vs Harvest FC (kickoff 2 PM), New Star Club vs Ambari United FC, Assam Warriors FC vs Sportscraft SC (Kickoff 3-10 PM).
