OIL All Assam Junior Tennis Championship to Start on December 6

DULIAJAN: The OIL All Assam Junior Tennis Championship 2022 is all set to start on December 6 this year.

The preparation for this year's edition of the OIL All Assam Junior Tennis Championship is in full swing in Duliajan. The Zaloni Club of Duliajan will play the host for this year's event. The tournament will be organised in five separate categories and will be conducted between December 6 and December 10. The tournament will be hosted in a total of five different categories. Two of them will be for the girls and three for the boys and all the categories will have cash prizes. A total scholarship amount of Rs 224000 is up for grabs for the participants.

For the Under 12 Boys category, the winner will get Rs. 12000, the runner-up will get Rs. 8000, each of the semi-finalists will get Rs4000 and each of the quarterfinalists will receive Rs. 2000. For the Under 14 Boys and Girls, the winners will receive Rs 16000 each, the runners-up will receive Rs 10000, Semi-finalists will Rs 5000 and each of the quarterfinalists will receive Rs Rs 2000. Prize money for the Under 18 category is the highest for both boys and girls. Both winners will receive Rs 18000, while runners-up will get Rs 12000 each. All Semifinalists and quarter-finalists will receive Rs 6000 and Rs 2000 respectively.

The Resident Chief Executive of OIL Prasanta Borkakoty is the chief patron of the event. Under his leadership, the organisation has organised and sponsored several sporting events in the region.
