5-kg IED recovered in Dhubri, 3 held

DHUBRI, June 27: Security forces recovered an IED weighing 5 kgs and arrested three suspected fundamentalist activists in Dhubri last night. A pistol was also recovered from the three suspects identified as Afnur Islam (22), Safiqul Hussain (20) and Samirul Haque (30). All of them hail from Kokrajhar district and were carrying the explosive to Dhubri.
