700 NDFB (S) cadres under leadership of B Sawaragora join peace process in Gossaigaon

GOSSAIGAON: Around 700 cadres of the NDFB (S) under the leadership of B Sawaragora came out to join the peace process at Rangapara forest village under Saraibil outpost in Gossaigaon subdivision on Wednesday.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and emotions when the cadres met their family members after a long gap. B Batha, Aangoi along with hundreds of cadres came out of the deep jungle where they were received by their leader and then they were taken to the newly-built designated camp. Sources stated that they might attend the joint surrender ceremony by the extremist groups in Guwahati on Thursday.

While talking to media persons, B Sawaragora said that they “are now on the path of peace and development” and they “have full faith that their legal demands for the community would soon be fulfilled”. (IANS)
