Agri officers in CID dragnet

Guwahati, July 30: CID today arrested four Agriculture Development Officers at Goalpara in connection with the embezzlement of funds meant for the tiol Food Security Mission scheme. A complaint in this regard was filed by Shramik Unyan Parishad. The accused officers are Pankaj Chandra Das, Niranjan Hajowari, Rustan Ali, Paresh Chandra Rai and Gopal Das.
