Alok Kumar Takes Charge as Assam's New Chief Secretary

GUWAHATI. Aug 31: Additional Chief Secretary Alok Kumar took charge as the new Chief Secretary of the State on Friday. He took over charge from incumbent Chief Secretary TY Das who retired today. Kumar, a 1984-batch IAS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre, was serving as the Additional Chief Secretary of Home and Political Department, PWD & Environment & Forest Department of Assam.
