Arup Dutta murder: Death sentence to 3

GUWAHATI, April 22: The Morigaon Session Court on Wednesday awarded death sentence to the three accused - Sanjay Chand, Bhim Das and Mohan Teron - in the Arup Dutta’s murder case. Eighteen-year-old Arup was kidpped from Jagiroad in 2011 by these three accused and later his mutilated dead body was recovered from a jungle of Amguri hills in Karbi Anglong district. Police, however, arrested the trio after 18 days of the murder.
