Assam employees to flex muscles today

Guwahati, Nov 20: Even as the 7th Pay Commission submitted its report to the Centre, Assam government employees will stage a demonstration pressing for disbursement of the 27-month arrears of the 6th Pay Commission. Sadou Asom Karmachari Parishad president Basab Kalita said employees will stage a three hour demonstration at Last Gate on Saturday, pressing for their demands.
