Assam government appointed retired IPS officer Pallab Bhattacharya as new APSC chief

GUWAHATI: The State government appointed retired IPS officer Pallab Bhattacharya as the Chairman of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) on Friday. The government also appointed retired IAS officer Sanjib Gohain Baruah and vice principal of SB Deorah College Niranjan Kalita as APSC members, official sources said.
