Assam to seek review of judgement

Guwahati, April 29: Assam Government will seek review of the Supreme Court's judgement clearing the decks for holding the tiol Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2016-17.
In a statement here on Friday, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said the decision on holding single test for medical entrance might prove counter-productive for the students of Assam. Hence, the State government has decided to seek a review of the Supreme Court's judgement on NEET.
Chief Minister Gogoi also requested the Centre to take up the matter in right earnest.
