ASTU takes over engineering colleges

GUWAHATI, Feb 21: In a significant verdict, the Guwahati High Court has brought all the five government engineering colleges under Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU). The Court today directed the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam in the Higher and Technical Education Assam as well as the appropriate authorities in the ASTU to ensure that the five engineering colleges are given NBA (tiol Board of Accreditation) accreditation at the earliest.
