Bhupen Hazarika's song will be the title song of SAF games

New Delhi, Nov 12: A popular number of Dr Bhupen Hazarika will be the title song of the forthcoming SAF games slated to be held in Guwahti and Shillong. 'Ei prithivi ekhon krirangon, krira hol shantir prangon (The world is a field of sports and sports is a symbol of peace)…will be the title song of the SAF games. The decision was taken at a meeting of the working committee of the prestigious games. The meeting chaired by Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sarbanda Sonowal also discussed on the mascot of the games. Sources said that the status of 11 stadiums in Assam and 3 in Meghalaya was reviewed in the meeting.
