BJP candidates Jitu Goswami, Padma Hazarika injured

GAON, April 9: BJP candidates from Samaguri and Sootea Jitu Goswami and Padma Hazarika were on Saturday afternoon injured in a motor cycle accident near Mikirhat in Samaguri. The accident took place when the duo was proceeding from Hatigaon to Bheleoguri leading a motorcycle rally. The injured BJP leaders were taken to gaon Kapili Nursing and Research Centre where doctors said they were out of danger. Jitu Goswami sustained injuries in the back portion of his head while Padma Hazarika was injured in the chin, face and hands.
