Bodo as associate official language

Guwahati, Feb 20: The Cultural Affairs department will set up the Bodo Cultural Research and Development Centre med after Bodofa leader Upendrath Brahma at Guwahati. A notification has been brought out to this effect. The State Government through another notification declared Bodo as associate official language in those districts having substantial Bodo population. Meanwhile, the official process is on for setting up of a separate Directorate for Bodo Medium, an official release said.
