Businessman Prasan Dutta's establishments raided

SIVASAGAR, March 19: Income Tax sleuths on Saturday conducted simultaneous raids at various establishments of businessman Prasan Dutta. IT officials raided his hotels, hospital, vehicle show-room and residences in Sivasagar. Sources said Dutta's posh hotel at GS Road in Guwahati was also raided. Raids were conducted at Hotel Shiva Place, restaurant Sky Chef, Pragati Hospital & Research Centre, Pragati Motors, as well as Dutta's residence located at Sankar Mandir Road of Sivasagar town. Hotel Shiva Place along with the restaurant is situated at AT Road near No. 2 Town Primary School while Pragati Hospital & Research Centre and Pragati Motors are located near NH-37 in the town.

Till the filing of report, the IT squad was investigating and examining all the documents.
