Can't let our guard down during PBL: Sindhu

New Delhi, Dec 22: One of the highest buys of the Premier Badminton League (PBL), P.V. Sindhu is gearing up to give her best for Cheni Smashers and said in the 15-point format of the game, you cannot let your guard down even for a bit. “The league will be interesting as a few new rules that are introduced will keep us on our toes. At no point can we leave our guards down,” said the two-time World Championship bronze medallist. “A 15-point game means that we have to keep our hold on the game throughout, not allowing the other to run away with it. So yes, it will be an exciting time during the league as each day can see a new team ruling the points table.”

With shuttlers like Sony Dwi Kuncoro, Simon Santoso, Praav Chopra, Chris Adcock to me a few, Sindhu feels that her team will be able to give a tough time to the rest during the league that will be held from January 2 to 17. Six franchisees — Delhi Acers, Hyderabad Hunters, Bengaluru Top Guns, Cheni Smashers, Mumbai Rockets and Awadhe Warriors — will compete in PBL. IANS
