Chidambaram To Be Questioned By ED In Aviation Scam Case

NEW DELHI: Based on a CBI FIR, the ED has summoned former Finance Minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram on August 23 for questioning in an aviation scam case dating back to the UPA regime. Chidambaram, who is being probed in the Aircel Maxis deal and the INX Media case, has been summoned on charges of money laundering. Earlier, the ED had questioned former Aviation Minister Praful Patel in connection with the sharing of the profitable routes of Air India with other airlines. (IANS)
