Guwahati, Jan 1: CID on Monday announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh to anyone providing any information on the infamous Jugdol murder case. Six persons of a single family — Harakanta Doley, his wife Swap Doley, their three children and his nephew — were beheaded on the fateful night of 12th December 2009 at Jugdol under Sopur police station. For long there was no progress in the case, before two police officials — Prab Deka (then OC of Sopur police station) and Abdul Matlib Chowdhury (then investigation officer) — were arrested on 6th December last year.
