CM's letter to Jaitley

GUWAHATI, February 22: In view of the pending dues of Central Sales Tax (CST) for the years 2010 to 2013, the Assam government has sought the intervention of the Union Fince Ministry to release the dues to expedite implementation of developmental programmes and budgetary commitments. In a letter sent last evening, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi requested Union Fince Minister Arun Jaitley to take steps to release the dues to the tune of Rs 1429.16  crore to the State.
