Compile electoral rolls on the basis of updated NRC: AASU

Guwahati, Dec 19: The All Assam Students Union today asked the State's Chief Electoral Officer Vijender to compile the electoral rolls on the basis of the updated tiol Register of Citizens. An AASU delegation led by its chief advisor Sammujal Bhattacharya and president Dipanka Kumar th met the CEO at Dispur and took up the issue. The AASU also urged the CEO to take up the matter during the two-day visit of the Chief Election Commissioner to the State beginning December 21.
