Dhol ariste Prasen Bora dead, GMCH negligence alleged

GUWAHATI, May 21: A scuffle between a section of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) junior doctors and attendants as well as other people over the death of Prasen Bora, a dhol exponent, was taken place at the hospital premises on Wednesday night. Bora, who was admitted in the GMCH on Wednesday following an injury, breathed his last on the same night. Relatives and other people alleged that negligence of junior doctors, who were on duty on that night, had led to Bora's demise. GMCH Superintendent Ramen Talukdar, however, denied the allegation.
