Dispur declares 6% DA

Guwahati, Oct 7: Assam government has approved the payment of Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) to the serving Government employees, State Government Pensioners, Family Pension Holders and Extra Ordiry Pension holders at the rate of six per cent today. With this enhancement the rate of DA/DR per mensem (per month) that a beneficiary will be entitled to will be 119 per cent. The rate of enhancement will be effective from July 1, 2015.
