Encounter at Kokrajhar, 1 killed

Guwahati, April 20: A senior leader of the NDFB(S) identified as Praneshwar rzary alias Daokhoumwi was tonight killed in an encounter with police and CRPF at Kochugaon Pepso Gravel Road of Kokrajhar. A 7.65 mm pistol with a magazine with three rounds, two fired cases and a hand grede were recovered from the encounter site. Search is on for other militants who were engaged in the gunfight.
