Fifth bridge coming up over Brahmaputra soon: Gadkari

New Delhi, Oct 12: Union Minister for Road Transport and tiol Highways, Nitin Gadkari on Monday assured that construction work for the Disangmukh-Dhakuakha connecting road and bridge over Brahmaputra will start very soon. Gadkari assured this to Union Sports Minister Sarbanda Sonowal, when the later called him at his office. A road to connect Disangmukh of Sivasagar district and Dhakuakha via Tekeliphuta-Lakhimpur-Majuli and a bridge over Brahmaputra-Lohit-Khabolu-Subansiri has been a long standing demand in Assam. Gadkari during his visit to Jorhat had announced the construction of both the connecting road and the bridge.
