GUWAHATI, April 6: An FIR has been lodged against legislator Rumi th charging her with having links with notorious car lifter Anil Chouhan. The FIR was on Monday lodged by Asomiya Yuva Mancha at Dispur police station. The organization also sent a memorandum to Union Home Minister seeking action against the legislator. The FIR accused the MLA of giving shelter to Chouhan and abetting his crimil activities. In its FIR, the AYM stated that th provide fake information to the assembly secretariat for issue of a car pass to Chouhan, which has posed a security threat to the MLA hostel.
