FIR lodged against corrupt officials

GUWAHATI, April 5: Kamrup district administration has recently lodged an FIR at the Panbazar Police Station against one former additiol deputy commissioner (revenue) of Kamrup (M) district, one former circle officer of Gauhati Revenue Circle, one former mondol of Gauhati Revenue Circle and one Rajesh Goel for helping an IPS officer procure a plot of land at Noonmati here by forging documents, which led to loss of revenue of the State government. An enquiry into the incident was conducted and prima facie evidence of wrongdoing found against the officials. The FIR has been lodged on the basis of the enquiry.
