Go Air launched Daily flights from Guwahati to Aizawl

GUWAHATI/AIZAWL: Go Air on Tuesday launched daily direct flights between Guwahati and Aizawl.

It is considered to be a big relief for the working individuals, visitors, patients, students of Mizoram and the north-eastern region which will also enhance tourism sector in Mizoram, stated a press release.

The daily direct flight from Guwahati airport was inaugurated by Sanjeev Jindal Regional, Executive Director, AAI-NER.

Go Air launched the G8- 249 on the Aizawl-Guwahati sector; and on its arrival at Lengpui Airport, it was accorded the water cannon salute by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The flight was flagged off by Chief Minister of Mizoram Zoramthanga at Lengpui Airport on its return.
