Gogoi directs CS to keep tabs

GUWAHATI, April 25: Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi directed Chief Secretary Jitesh Khosla to take stock of the situation in Assam in the aftermath of the earthquake that shook Nepal and parts of India, including the Northeast today. He also directed Khosla to see whether there was any loss of property due to the earthquake in the State. Moreover, the Chief Secretary has also been asked to alert the Assam State Disaster Magement Authority and other departments to face exigencies arising out of any probable earthquake.
