Governor, Sonowal mourn Pul's demise

GUWAHATI, Aug 9:  Governor PB Acharya today condoled the premature death of former Aruchal Pradesh Chief Minister Kalikho Pul.

In a condolence message here today,  Acharya said, "I am shocked at the death of Kalikho Pul. The news of his death has caught me in a state of complete disbelief. He was young and full of positive energies. The country, and Aruchal Pradesh in particular, lost an energetic and dedicated leader who could have contributed immensely to the development of the country".

Conveying his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family,  Acharya said, "My prayers to the Almighty for the eterl peace of the departed soul, and to grant strength and fortitude to the family members to bear pain at this critical juncture of life".

Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal too mourned the shocking and untimely demise of the former Aruchal Pradesh Chief Minister. In a condolence message, Chief Minister Sonowal said, "It is really shocking to hear the tragic death of former Aruchal Pradesh Chief Minister Kalikho Pul. He was a man of grit and determition and full of innovative ideas."
