IIT-G student dies in Hahim mishap

Boko, April 16: An IIT Guwahati student, identified as Saurav Kumar Pandey, 27, who hails from Muzzafarpur in Bihar died here today, when he jumped into a water body at Hahim for swimming. Police said Saurav along with 69 students of IIT Guwahati came for a picnic to Aradonga near Hahim. Saurav and one his friends were seriously injured when they jumped into the water body.  Both of them were immediately shifted to the Boko 30-bedded Government Hospital but Saurav was declared brought dead.
