Koch Royal families accuse BTC of distorting history

GUWAHATI, Sept 20: The Koch Rajbongshi Royal Families have alleged that the BTC administration and Bodo intellectuals have been out to distort the history of the Koch Rajbongshis with the sole intention to me them as Bodos.

In a startling revelation at a press meet in the city today, Panja Royal Family member from Bangladesh Subir rayan Konwar, Koch Behar Royal Family member Supriya rayan, Sidli Royal Family member Anga Rekha Baruah, Darrang Royal Family member Trailokya rayan Deb and Beltola Royal Family member Indrajit rayan Deb said: "This is a deep-rooted conspiracy to destroy the Koch Rajbonghis. The BTC administration has published a history book -- Bodoland Back to Future -- written by Prithvi rayan Deb. The book gives the identity of Koch Rajbongshis as Mech. The author has identified himself as a Mech and claims to have hailing from the Sidli Royal Family, which is not based on fact. We demand immediate ban of the book, and warned them not to distort the history of Koch Rajbongshis, failing which we will have to take the legal course."
