Lack of infrastructure affecting Gas Cracker Project

New Delhi, Aug 12: Lack of infrastructure has stood as a roadblock for carrying gas to the Assam Gas Cracker project. Disclosing this to the reporters here on Wednesday, U P Singh, additiol secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and tural Gas said, "We don't have infrastructure to carry gas to the Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL), which is implementing the prestigious Assam Gas Cracker project."  "…and because of this problem, the project is getting delayed," Singh, who is also the CMD of state owned PSU-Oil India Limited (OIL), said.
