MEA opens control room

NEW DELHI, April 25: The ministry of exterl affairs (MEA) has opened a round-the-clock control room to answer queries regarding the massive earthquake in Nepal. “MEA opens 24 hour Control Room for queries regarding tragic #NepalEarthquake. Numbers: +91 11 2301 2113, +91 11 2301 4104 and +91 11 2301 7905,” ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted. Exterl Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj also tweeted the helpline numbers for the Indian embassy in Kathmandu — +977 9851107021, 9851135141. IANS
