Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on NDFB pact

GUWAHATI: On the peace process with the NDFB(S), State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma told reporters here on Saturday, “The agreement to be signed is not going to split Assam. There’s no move to include a few villages from the Sonitpur district to the BTAD, nor is there any move to form a UTC (Union Territorial Council). What’s doing rounds on these are only rumours.”
