NE cell in Guwahati

Guwahati, July 31:  In line with the recommendations of the MP Bezbaruah Committee report, Assam Government has constituted a Special North East Cell under the Commissionerate of Police, Guwahati to facilitate people from different parts of Northeast coming to and living in Guwahati. The special helpline numbers of the cell are 0361-2457917 (Dial 100 PCR) and 0361- 2461556 (PCR City) and address of the cell is Police Control Room Building, Near Assam Police CID Headquarters, Ulubari, Guwahati.
