Nepal death toll is 5,700

The death toll in Nepal's devastating earthquake has touched 5,700 and nearly 12,000 have been injured, it was announced on Thursday evening. The tiol Emergency Operation Centre under the home ministry put the number of injured at 11,538. The Centre put the number of "totally affected" houses at over 1.3 million and partially affected houses at 85,856. Meanwhile, three tremors were felt on Thursday, between 6 and 9 a.m.
