Nepal quake toll climbs to 6,841

Kathmandu, May 2: As search and rescue operations continued for the seventh day, the toll due to the massive earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25 rose to 6,841 on Saturday, officials said. As many as 14,087 people were injured in the 7.9 magnitude quake and its aftershocks, according to Nepal’s ministry of home affairs. IANS
