NIA files chargesheet against three NDFB(S) rebels

GUWAHATI, March 14: The tiol Investigation Agency (NIA) today submitted a  supplementary chargesheet before the Special NIA Court in Guwahati against three NDFB (S) rebels in connection with the killing of five Adivasi people at Pakiriguri village under Serfanguri police station in Kokrajhar district on December 23, 2014. The accused are Amal Mushahary alias Aogoi, Kamakhya Daimary alias Kwsong alias Konkor alias Kanta and Jeba Basumatary alias Jangsha Borgoyari alias Lambu alias Ziba Borgoyari.

It may be mentioned that the NIA had earlier filed a chargesheet against ten accused in connection with the case.

The NIA court has also framed charges against all of them. The NIA also filed another chargesheet and one supplementary chargesheet today in connection with an arms recovery case on June 5, 2013 at Sairang in Aizawl against one Rohminglia alias Hmingtea alias Hminga.

The four accused - Moni Tripuri, Sobuz Chakma, Robi Chakma and Lalnghakthanga - are Bangladeshi tiols and are absconding after release on bail.

Accused Rohminglia, the owner of a farm house, was arrested on March 12, 2013.
