NIA Issues Charge Sheets Against Six ISIS Supporters

GUWAHATI: The NIA on Monday filed two charge sheets in its Special Courts at Lucknow and Guwahati against six persons on allegations of hatching a criminal conspiracy to carry out terrorist attacks by Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) cadres in various parts of Assam.

The two against whom charge sheets were filed in the Lucknow Court are Kamruj Zaman alias Dr. Hurairah alias Kamarruddin and absconding accused Osama Bin Javed.

Meanwhile, the NIA issued charge sheets against five others including Kamruj Zaman in Guwahati. The other four persons are Md. Sahnawaz Alom alias Mridul; Md. Saidul Alam; Md. Omar Faruk; and Md. Jaynal Uddin alias Jainal Ahmed.
