"Godse was much more patriotic than Gandhi. I am very sure several people in the country think so. 'Balidan diwas' should be a day for the countrymen to sit and think why Godse killed Gandhi," the daily quoted Kaushik.

The outfit is also planning to ect plays on Godse's life. The play will be staged by students affiliated to the outfit.

Apart from this, the Mahasabha will also distribute abridged copies of the book 'Gandhi Vadh Kyon', written by Gopal Godse, thuram Godse's younger brother and co-conspirator of Gandhi's assassition.

"Members will also read out Godse's speech during the trial," a source in the outfit added.

The Mahasabha is also planning to build a 'Godse Rath' as well. The rath will have pictures of Bhagat Singh, Savarkar and other revolutiories besides that of Godse. (Agencies)
