Guwahati, Jan 10: The office-in-charge of Barpathar police station Binod Phangso was killed and constable Manoj Saikia was injured when suspected car thieves opened fire at them during an operation at Chungajan in Golaghat district on Sunday night. Both the police men were rushed to a hospital where the OC succumbed later.
